The Las Vegas Strip always gets busy for the Christmas Holidays, so we snuck down a little early to catch some glimpses of the usual hot spots for Christmas Cheer. This year, Christmas falls on a Friday and that means a really busy three-day weekend followed by an insanely New Year’s Eve the following weekend!
The first stop is the ever-popular Bellagio Botanical Gardens.
Here you will find yourself surrounded by thousands of twinkling lights, more than 28,000 poinsettias and a 42-foot White Fir holiday tree decorated with over 7,000 white LED twinkling lights and adorned with 2,500 colorful ornaments. Standing guard at each corner of the garden you will notice four animated toy soldiers robotically moving in unison. Plus four 10-foot stockings stuffed with wrapped trinkets hang from the ceiling, along with a 12-foot Jack-in-the–box, surrounded by gifts and golden ribbon.
Let’s not forget the always popular Coca-Cola Polar bears mad with 1000’s of white carnations! With two 12-foot snow globes, each showcasing a classic winter scene. In one globe, two ice skaters glide across a frozen pond and in the other, carolers rejoicing and singing around a gleaming holiday tree.
The holiday display is available for guests to enjoy for free 24 hours a day, seven days a week from December 4 through January 3, 2016.
The Ice Rink at The Cosmopolitan
