Gordon Ramsay opens a new fish and chips shop in Las Vegas

Gordon Ramsay Opens in Las Vegas

Award-winning celebrity chef, restaurateur, and Officer of the Order of the British Empire, Gordon James Ramsay has just opened yet another eatery in the Las Vegas Strip, bringing the total number of his restaurants here to four.

The Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips shop whose doors cannot be missed for anything because of their resemblance to old British phone booths, was opened on October 7, situated just by the Linq Promenade across the Las Vegas Boulevard from Caesars Palace, where he has another eatery, Gordon Ramsay’s Pub & Grill.

The opening of the restaurant with seating capacity for at least 25 persons is a dream come true for Ramsay who said he had always dreamed of opening his own “chippie” as he calls it.

On the restaurant’s menu are the following…

Gordon Ramsay Fish and Chips

  • Fried fish sandwich for $14.99
  • Battered sausage for $13.99 (British sausage seasoned with fontina cheese)
  • Marinated fried shrimp for $15.99
  • Fried cod (with custard powder batter that gives it a golden crunchy crisp look) for $11.99
  • Sticky Toffee Pudding for $8.99

The meals at the restaurant are known to be excellently tasty and second to none with Ramsay’s signature fish and chips and the likes readily available to “go down” the Gordon way while guests watch the chefs prepare the meals.

Ramsay says the fishes he uses (Alaskan True Cod) is lightly salted for about 30 minutes using lemon salt, which helps stop the fish from being watery, as the water destroys the batter.
