Laughlin Nevada was founded in 1964 by Don Laughlin, a Minnesota native.
He was looking to establish a family friendly place along the Colorado River.
Today, Laughlin has one main street lined with 10 casinos plus entertainment and shopping opportunities!
Julie’s family came there looking for the cheap meals offered at Don Laughlin’s Riverside Casino, plus have some fun on the river.

They recently had a total renovation and are known as the Aquarius Casino and Resort

Thank You for the comment. The hotels usually make it point to let you know that its bike week and they book only those who are there for bike week. You sound like me, getting int he thick of things, like hitting San Fransisco just as Fleet Week starts and trying to find a room!
We are making the trip this coming May. Driving to Grand Canyon and a few days in Laughlin then a week at the Grandview Las Vegas. Was so glad to hear that the bikers will be gone when we get there. Not that we have anything really against them, we just don’t really fit in and have an uncanny knack for getting in the thick of them when on vacation.
