People sometimes forget the natural beauty that surrounds Las Vegas. One of my favorite day trips out of the city is to Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. About a 4-hour drive from Las Vegas. Most people I take out there will come back saying it was one of the most beautiful places they had ever seen. It even beats out the Grand Canyon National Park for beauty and tranquility!

There is no place like Bryce Canyon. Hoodoos (odd-shaped pillars of rock left standing from the forces of erosion) can be found on every continent, but here is the largest collection of hoodoos in the world! Descriptions fail. Photographs do not do it justice. An imagination of wonder will serve you when visiting Bryce Canyon National Park. (NPS)
I have been out there in the worst of winter condition and I have been out there in the hottest of summer time heat. She has never failed to lift my spirits and inspire me with her peaceful surroundings and ever-changing natural beauty.

No matter how bad your day may be, one look into the amphitheater of Bryce Canyon and you will be smiling again. Or better yet, take a journey down into the canyon itself. There are several great paths of various lengths and difficulties.
