The Best Signs that Las Vegas is coming back to life is when they start to release the opening dates for the summer pool parties! The second best sign Las Vegas is coming back to life is when they announce that some of the most popular Las Vegas shows have opening dates that are really soon!! And that has now happened!
The recent announcements of COVID restrictions for public gatherings are being eased as we roll into spring and summer was a sweet thing to hear. So that means that there is a chance for the people behind the parties and shows to actually begin to maybe come out of hiding, a chance for them to get some money in the bank to fund the parties to make money, pay their long unemployed staff, and to actually sell tickets to you, the Vegas Tourist. (we like that idea!)
What to Know before you go to the pool
Starting Monday, pool clubs in Las Vegas can open at 35% capacity. State officials anticipate capacity limits will rise to 50% on March 15.
Guests can expect the health and safety guidelines in the age of COVID-19 are as follows: Lounge chairs will be spaced 6 feet apart. Masks will be required at all times – unless in the water or actively eating, drinking, or smoking.
Please understand that most pools are not allowing general admission. Only invites and reservations! Please check with individual Resorts on reservation requirements to attend the pool parties.

MGM Goes All In
MGM is bringing all of their Las Vegas Resorts to be open 24/7 starting March 3
That means they are reopening Mandalay Bay, Park MGM, and the Mirage to full-time status
Nascar Returns
Good News!! NASCAR will return to Las Vegas Motor Speedway! This time, they will have fans in the stands! NASCAR Camping World Truck Series March 5, NASCAR Xfinity Series March 6, and Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, March 7. No word on if they plan to have the usual Hauler Parade down the Las Vegas Strip.

Virgin Gets a New Date
Virgin Hotels Las Vegas recently announced their new opening date is now March 25. The Virgin Resort is the formerly Hard Rock Resort, totally reimagined and looking great!
