Pop Superstar and frequent Las Vegas visitor, Michael Jackson’s final crash pad in Las Vegas is now on the market for a cool $9.5 million. He never owned it, the King of Pop and his three minions lived from 2007 until his unexpected death at his Los Angeles home in 2009.
The mansion is listed by real estate agent Kristen Routh Silberman at Synergy Sotheby’s International, the compound was originally built in the 1950s in Mexico, then transported to Las Vegas, brick by brick. Unfortunately, that’s not really the house you would be buying. After Jackson’s tragic death, the owner decided to turn the home into a Micheal Jackson/Neverland shrine.
The 16,122-square-foot mansion sits on 1.7 acres and has seven bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and even it’s very own medieval-style chapel that seats 75 people. The current owner is taking advantage of the MJ media hype and has filled the place with ornate furniture in styles supposedly favored by the legendary singer. You know, gold pianos, portraits of Jackson himself and his animals as well as a replica of the famous boy on the moon painting.
My favorite part of the place seems to be the Master Bedroom. According to the lister’s YouTube description:
“The entire top level is home to the master retreat, complete with a full wet bar and lounge nestled around a fireplace. The main master room has the original mirrors that Jackson once used to rehearse his infamous choreography. The stone bathroom features a huge shower and three sinks with a vanity. ”
