This is Las Vegas and when you want to open up a new place on the Strip, you just don’t post an open sign and hope for the best. No, you need to open it up “Vegas Style”. Do something that makes some noise, stops traffic and causes people already on sensory overload, to stop, look, and go “WOW!”
I can say that the new kid on the block, Beer Park, did just that. They brought in the famous Budweiser Clydesdales to trot down the Strip to tell the world they are now open for business! These famous gentle giants helped fill the sidewalks and stopped traffic for a couple of hours while they got hitched up and paraded up and down one side of the Las Vegas Strip in honor of the grand opening of the new bar/club at Paris Las Vegas called Beer Park.

Beer Park bills itself as the Strip’s first rooftop bar and grill, complete with an outdoor grill, picnic tables, and more than 100 draft, can, and bottle beer selections; including 36 beers on tap. All-American cuisine will be served from the menu as well as from roaming carts serving concession-style offerings, as well as meats and other foods prepared on a custom-made Budweiser Beechwood Grill. Beer Park will be a hub for sports viewing, with an array of TVs throughout the venue, giving each seat optimum views. Hmmm…. Just in time for the “Big Game” next weekend!!
Anheuser-Busch’s Budweiser Clydesdales are an enduring symbol of Budweiser’s heritage, tradition and commitment to quality. The hitch team will make appearances across the country in 2016, never failing to draw a crowd wherever they go. This year marks the 83rd anniversary of the Budweiser Clydesdales, which made their first appearance on behalf of Anheuser-Busch on April 7, 1933, when they delivered a case of Budweiser to the White House in celebration of the repeal of prohibition of beer.
Living on Las Vegas, you get to see a lot of amazing things and it really does take a lot to get a crowd to stop, look, and give you a standing ovation. Watching eight of the most beautiful horses pulling a hitch trotting down the Las Vegas Strip, pulling a U-Turn, and doing it again… That is how you do it!. Just getting them to shut down part of Las Vegas Blvd is an amazing feat. But it was worth it. Locals, as well as tourists, lined the street to watch it all happen.
